The video captures on these pages were taken from the original "raw footage" on VHS tapes. Each image is shown with a caption, and when the image is clicked, a full size version of that image will open in another window. By late 1987 I was already making longer, more detailed videos, and finishing them. "Sacked" and "Kris Cleans Up" were made after moving back to Lomita, in the Casablanca apartments, where I only took up residence for a year. "Sacked" is about getting fired from Target stores, where I was working, and since I was on unemployment, I had a lot of time on my hands. After moving in with Bob, I made the longest MikeVideo yet for my niece, Cinnamon, "The Uncle Mike Story", which is an autobiography that lasts over 90 minutes.

Lomita 1987: "Sacked" This footage from the Target Safety Video I shot in December of 1987 shows up in the MikeVideo "Sacked" which deals with my getting fired from Target.

Lomita 1987: "Sacked" As a "news announcer" in the video, I am announcing that I have been "sacked" prior to showing numerous clips from movies in which people get fired from their jobs.

Lomita 1987: "Kris Cleans Up" Mike relaxes with Kris Mutt, the stuffed dog who is the star of "Kris Cleans Up." This is after Kris has cleaned the apartment.

Lomita 1987: "Kris Cleans Up" Kris was animated using stop motion photography. Here he scoots across the floor on the vacuum cleaner.

Lomita 1987: "Kris Cleans Up" Armed with a roll of paper towels, Kris attempts to clean up the living room.

Lomita 1988: Footage of Gumbys with the smallest Gumby figure in focus

Lomita 1988: More Gumbys, this time the medium sized Gumbys are in focus.

Lomita 1988: The six foot high inflatable plastic Gumby.

Lomita 1988: Mike in the button hat and coat reading a "bedtime story" in footage shot but never used for MikeVideo projects in 1988.

Lomita 1988: "The Uncle Mike Story" The most ambitious MikeVideo project yet. This is video of the actual tape label before I shipped the tape to my niece. The only copy I have now is a dupe of this videotape.

Lomita 1988: "The Uncle Mike Story" Dad, myself, my brother Daniel, and Sister Mary from the photo montage sequence at the beginning of "The Uncle Mike Story".

Lomita 1988: "The Uncle Mike Story" Mom and us kids. The photo montage sequence consited of the actual photo negatives being shot with the negative/positive feature of the RCA VHS camera turned on.
