"Words in Limbo" Cathy poem

Speaking clearly - understand -
One knows which truths to separate.
If I can live my life untouched
I walk a thin line,
        yet prepare my fate.
    Knowing truths
    Is not enough
    But knowing
        anything at all
    It can prove rough.

Speaking rightly - that I can
If I know it is right I speak
And if I have the slighest doubt
I ask some questions,
        and hope nothing leaks.
    I want the truth
    I need no lie
    But if
        I want everything
    I have to pry.

Please believe me
I do not want to
        steer you wrong
Please trust me
Do not make me
        wait so long.
