"The Language to Win You
(has never been written)" 36th Cathy poem

Cathy, if God were to grant me the language to win you
And to teach me how to use it to win you.
The words, the right ones, would help you believe
He has put me here for you and vise versa.
Your heart has to tell you this someday.

If God were to speak to me right now.
Feelings which choke me could be straightened out

I know though, that this won't happen

Cathy, if there were a way to win you
And I could wield it's power
Nothing could stop me from trying
That is, unless yu told me to stop

Happiness sometimes need only be measured by
A realization that two people can have fun together
Very often the poets call this love
Even I speak of it (at certain times)

Your happiness is all I care about
Of course I can't please you if you don't love me
Understand that I'll never stop loving you.

It's too late for intellectual musings
Love has captured my heart
Love has been trying very hard with you

Find this love someday, Cathy
And you will feel good
Love isn't a light switch
Love is the final answer.

Anything you tell me is interesting because you matter
Please believe this even if I'm in a bad mood
And remember sometimes your smile can lift my spirits
Reality is a crutch we all walk around on
That's why God invented love to make the day go better.
