In 1977 I wrote 18 poems.

I only wrote 18 poems in 1977, and the bulk were written in November and December. I was fired from an eight year association with Ole's Home Centers in 1977, even after moving to Torrance with the company in 1975. I turned 24. I didn't drink so heavily on unemployment and I vowed, at years end, to write profusely.
