Beginnings - A Thought Transcription
I dedicate the following to the summer of 1974 Let us bring to mind the recent past and let us ponder why we haven't gazed upon brilliance yet dabbled heavily in nostalgia. Let us yearn to express to glorious heaventhe dogmas which we are forced to believe which somehow do not solve our problems in the least. Let us see what makes these words form in our mouths and let us relish the thoughts of those who think about us. one. In the beginning I had a sister and she was mine but then she found someone who takes ups more of her time and she could hardly be expected to think of me as much. two. And when I find that (as of old) I can show my poetry again, someone asks (as if life mattered so much) if I could dedicate a poem to them. three. The other night I spent a gratifying evening and when it ended I never saw the people again. Can life be answered? Is mortality a virtue?
