In 1974 I wrote 22 poems.

At 21 years of age, barely feeling my manhood, I witness my father's death. By now, mother is a total vegetable. My theme is "Miles Lost In Transit". Poems are very hard in coming. I fear I'm losing the urge to write. I depend more and more on dope and booze. In only three years, I'm a full fledged alcoholic. I have one meaningful relationship with Terry, and it only lasts a week.
