The Sound of Happy

Can't understand it
running around in circles
declaring nothing absolute
writing strange long letters
remembering moments passing by

Writing a lot of poetry about one girl

No one comprehends
forgotten feelings lying about
repressing guilt and hurt
coming back to what I've run away from
times I feel so sad

I hear her laugh
and
feel the sound of happy

Trying to realize
meaning of life
groping for multitudinous answers
listening to her protests
yet not hearing her words

her mood's upset
when she conveys the sound of happy
