"She No Longer Lives Here"
I knew once so long ago Words which sang while wild winds blow Words which whipped clouds o'er the waves Winds which spent all drear time saves Winds I dreamt in winsome dreams Winds blow quiet while moonlight beams I knew once so long ago Faces softer than soft snow Snow swirled soft by winter winds Softer than that, no one had been Snow I thought in moments past Blankets of new snow cover the last I knew once so long ago A voice so smooth, so soft, so low And tears so wet, they pour'd the sea Drowned so my eyes, I couldn't see This cloudburst covered all my heart I only dreamt her - every part
