In 1972 I wrote 29 poems.

I hated college. Classes were boring. My grades dropped. I discovered booze, alcohol, sex, drugs, etc. The poetry of 1972 (age 19) reflects disillusionment and bitterness, yet clearly shows I ached for the fulfillment I could not have. I looked across the USC campus for the "Angel of Friendship" but for me she did not exist.
