Untitled IIIThey sat together yet alone Endowed by boredom's own They ne'er refreshed With love's sweet warm They sat alone Unmoving form For hours they stayed there shunning all Two heavenly bodies missing their call To peace and order and harmony. Their minds were somewhere else, it seemed No lightness beamed They ne'er refreshed With love's sweet warm They sat alone Unmoving form If they but knew they weren't alone That one needs another before they're done That one body needs another. And all at once their eyes did meet The scene turned sweet With love refreshed They looked anew With love refreshed Their power grew One declared he loved the other much By a simple, gentle, loving touch And that's the way it should be.
