PremonitionPoetry by Michael F. Nyiri
For a thought to mingle
Once with love
Can stop the tingle
Forevermore.
Love's an emotion
It cannot mix.
Or then devotion
Is robbed of core.
To ponder a feeling
Would shatter it.
The heart be peeling
Until it be sore.
Once the creeping affection dons it's robe
Follows the path of essence
It's way be obstructed by mindful action.
One may never sense it's presence.
