"Ask Me if I Care"
She gazes brightly eyes are dim Movements spring but soul is taut Little girl weeps to the sky at night During the day she looks happy Oh girl two lives pass as one Two come slowly together each day And I see her countenance try to conceive That hearts will fall where they may. She makes her bed climbs inside Breaking her facade in the dark Who cares what she suffers Who cares what she feels To the people who know her She's alright, but not real. Friend all in number kiss her hello Sparkling her eyes and her smile Dwelling inside her unknown to them all Life two succumbs all the while.
