"Connection"
I lived for the feeling of connection To look in love's eyes To hear soft whispered sighsI often felt I'd feel a resurrection To evoke wondrous squeals To really feel how love feelsThe future always pointed toward perfection Was it you in the dark A playful vision in the parkNo one knows lonely like I do No one knows why I act like a stone I've seen romance But it's through a closed window to me And I never could feel But I never failed to seeSomeday I will feel the connection The resurrection The perfectionOr I will perish unfulfilled As in nightmares of the soulMichael F.
