"Separate Rooms"
You feel penned in, uncomfortable, You yearn for escape Do you ever feel safe in my room? My dear I do love you But I don't feel too close sometimes Is this because you stay locked in your room? It's been quite a time now I've been inside your life; And to me, mine seems outside; No one really to talk to If you ask me a question Do you expect me to answer? And do you really want me Or is it all just too familiar? You've "got to get out of here" Never relax much Please relax with me Let me be with you And move back with me Someday.... Because I never felt Comfortable in Separate rooms
