Thoughts

An elusive cornerstone on which to build
A savvy reputation.
Let the unsaid ruminations
Stack each other as brickstones
Please may I notice my own abilities
And give them a room for rent.
Open myriad doors from which
Demons emerge, screaming with pain
For an outlet.
Then plug in an irresistable complaint
To let them sit down and converse.

A darkened hearth with no coals.
Give imagination a spark,
And burn a warmth with words.
Let the battered demons have rest
And tell of their tarnished travels
While I stir the broth.
Open myriad windows through which
The demons, now sated, might jump
for an outlet.
Then plug into my vision misuse
And put out the fire.
