Manic Intrusions in the Otherwise Perfect Peace of our Existence

People are allowed to say "no"
People are allowed to be "alone"
People are not wind-up toys which
We control at will and then
Put away when
WE want to say "no" or be "alone"

We can exist as friends
We don't even need to talk to each other

You have intimidated your relationships
at an ever-so-alarming rate...
You have expressed at times of
being lonely...
I have just released my secret of
existence from out of my bosom
Where it has lain dormant for years.
I feel good.

It is at the forefront of my
stamina that I can allow myself
to feel good in spite of
Your intrusion

You made Jim leave
He's a little of my life now and I
feel sorry for him....

Why do you always wait to be asked to leave
I hate to ask anyone to leave... but I will....
