Divided Inspiration Coupled

No one gives up hope unless the hope gives up first
     He looked so pretty...sleeping
     Dreams interrupted for reality
     Dreams are no more...
Once I could cry but now I cannot-
             feel...
     Emotion becomes the absolute-
     Absolute pain drains the heart.

What can be said that means something,
When can words console the masses,
     Does one live with questions,
           never seeming to find answers-
                  forever
                        growing older,
                              until the yearning dies...
           `too?
Will one find a perfect soulmate
with which to share the questions-
             at least??

It's so easy to cry-until the tears
             stop coming.
     It's so easy to remember,
            So you don't
     It's so easy to die...
            But you can't...
                                                        yet.

And while forces which seem in-
            surmountable
     Direct the events in reality-
We shall kiss the face of fate
     And we shall move forward
            under the eyes of solitude
            never trusting
                     but yet wanting so
                                                        desperately to,
     Until either the questions
                     are answered
                     or shared....
                     or shattered.
