Decade This Far and Beyond"

I turned
the corner at 50 four years ago.
I didn't want to think about it till 51.
Life looked interesting at 52.
I didn't recognize myself at 53.
I've made it to 54.
I'm planning for 55.
Hopefully I'll be satisfied at 56.
I don't want to think about 57.
Will I be around at 58?
Deserted and despairing when 59?
Will I be Scintillating and sexy,
or Sick and wasted
at Sixty?
