"All
Is Lost, Yet All Is Never Lost"

The burn eradicates the
past in items tangible
The heat deletes the coziness of memory just yesterday
The ashes fall upon the questions and the hurting
But finally they blow away
Stamina and health overshadow
the pain of the loss
Life and true friendship cover misunderstanding and hollowness
The light which burned the past becomes a beacon
for the future
Problems and pathways emerge and enmesh
And the path to your future is unfettered and clear
No one can feel more empty
No one can understand the pain of losing everything
But everyone can send a little love and prayer
And everyone can experience the light of your love
And the expressions of your existence
Burned beyond recognition,
A past life will reside in memory's bower
While the new sprouts of kindness
and serendipity greet the
spectre of hope
The burn eradicates the
past
and it seems as if all is lost
Yet all is never lost
And what you will find in the ashes of
tragedy
will strengthen your resolve to begin
again,
and all will be better this time around
