"Uncertain (Future) History"
Trembling with a shudder that has lasted for centuries
Choking with the lies told over time
Advancing fears and fallacies fool everyone, but no one
Seems to care, and yet they do, but what can one
Accomplish in return?
In past history, mankind would band together
In the past our tribes would seem to keep us safe
But these same tribes would war and fight
Kill and maim for what they thought was right
And safety is just a word after all
Apocalyptic challenges
Challenging since birthright holds us prisoner
Even Biblical and Legendary Stories
Predict our end in no Uncertain terms
And so Uncertainty is embedded in the conscious
And the unconscious mind rebels
But as before what can one
Accomplish in return?Awaking, as in rebirth each morn
The mind will take a minute to register
That everything is the same, yet
nothing is the same, and yet
Sameness is the watchword of Uncertainty
Then when Uncertain Calamaties occur
It seems as if they have always happened
And I, for one, can never remain Certain
That Uncertainty is quite the Reason for Existence
After all. These roiling times Will Certain End
In some future history round the bend
Mighty demons shalt we all surely fend
And with our hands our clothing rend
