In 2001 I wrote 14 poems

By 2001, my latest "creative surges" had manifested themselves into a web based cottage industry. By listing "poetry" as an "interest" on internet clubs, by positng both new and old poems, and by maintaining an email list that grew into the hundreds, for a while I felt like I had gained the readership I always had wanted. On Sept 11, 2001, both the dreams and aspirations of myself and the world were sort of put on hold. I wrote "Tragedy" the morning after "the attacks". Only a few days before, I had composed a poem detailing the shock at having found out that an internet correspondent had passed away suddenly. The year ended with another "email edged in black" which prompted the poem "SoulGrief". 2001 became a very sad, reflective year for this poet.
